About
The software studio of Dave Koziol — Ann Arbor, Michigan.
KOh Services is the software studio of Dave Koziol, an engineer and technology leader based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dave has spent more than 25 years building software — across mobile platforms, cloud infrastructure, connected hardware, and the teams that ship it all. He founded Arbormoon Software in 2003 and led it for nearly two decades, growing it from a solo practice into a 24-person fully remote consultancy. During that time he delivered mobile and web applications for clients ranging from consumer brands to research universities, with deep work in HIPAA-compliant digital health, consumer-scale mobile platforms, and IoT-connected hardware.
He’s a long-time organizer and community builder in the Michigan tech ecosystem — a Google Developer Group organizer since 2012, a speaker and organizer at events including Michigan DevFest and MobiDevDay, and a mentor to early-stage founders through the New Enterprise Forum.
KOh Services is where that experience gets applied to software Dave wants to exist in the world. The current project is Bucketeer — a travel discovery app for iOS and Android built to help you capture, organize, and explore the places worth going. Bucketeer runs on a local-first architecture with a dataset of 12,000+ places, and is approaching private beta.
